Ar. Sumit Agarwal completed his architectural studies at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur in 1998 securing gold medal. In 1999, he founded ARCON, now one of the most significant and successful design practices.
Sumit’s principal interests in both architecture and interior design have shaped a range of projects over many years. He has extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction industry with a wide range of experience, incorporating commercial and hotel projects, institutional projects, leisure, public buildings, residential and Master Planning developments.
His experience in the delivery of complex and technically challenging projects spans more than two decades and Sumit maintains an engaging, hands-on methodology for each and every project as part of a problem-solving approach. Sumit’s ambition is to create projects that are pleasing and functional to the user while employing sustainable technologies, that are durable rather than throwaway, and that connect to existing communities and infrastructure.
